AZGM To Increase Its Capacity Utilization
According to the recent Azovmash Concern press service release, Azovzahalmash (which is a part of Azovmash Concern) agreed with Ukraine-Brazil Alcantara Cyclone Space joint venture to supply equipment for building the Cyclone ground based space rocket launch complex in Brazil. According to the statement, the enterprise has already prepared the technical documentation for production of the equipment. Under the plan, the manufacturing period is between 14 and 18 months after receipt of payment. The press service release does not disclose the total worth of this contract.

The partnership with Brazil is undoubtedly positive for Azovzagalmash and Mariupol Heavy Machinery Plant because all Concern Companies will be involved in fulfillment of this contract to a varying degree. The customer proposes to continue business relations with Azovmash in the areas of design and manufacture of carriage-building products. We also want to point out that this contract, once performed, will not only expand AZGM sales markets, but also resume high-tech production with higher extra cost level.
